The JVC Blue-ray SR-HD 2500US recorder is capable of copying videos to Blu-ray hard drive in high definition from a camcorder, or by converting videos and burning them to a DVD without the need for a computer.
Integrated with a 500GB hard drive allows easy editing directly on the drive and subsequent dubbing of multiple disks. It is equipped with USB and SD inputs for source media connectivity.
The input terminals i.Link (Fire Wire) are for connecting the camcorder. This allows a coach, for example, to record a game or practice, and immediately burn multiple copies of the footage to team members for review.
For broadcasters, the integrated SD/HD-SDI interface ensures capacity with HD cameras, recorders and production switchers. The drive is also compatible with high-capacity dual-layer Blu-ray discs (50GB), burning up to 24 hours (AE mode) with all the high definition video on a single disc.
JVC AVCHD, HDV and DV, and Everio camera formats are also supported. The Blue-ray disc can create the BDMW format. Additionally you can use the original image as the graphic menu in the background.
