Avid introduces version 12.4 of its Pro Tools digital audio editing software. New features such as Track Freeze, which allows you to manage, simplify and accelerate those sessions that intensively use the processor, are highlighted in the update.
Similarly, the Track Bounce and Commit functions included in version 12 will improve the workflow.
Freeze allows you to release, in real time, the resources of the DSP allowing the operator to make quick adjustments again when they are needed.
Combining these functions, to the Track Commit, for example, which allows you to edit and move clips and choose digital tracks; and track bounce, used with track stems or renderings of outputs for archive or workflows, shows that the new version gains in stability and functionality.
