NAB. Blackmagic Design made several announcements ahead of NAB Show 2026. Among them is DaVinci Resolve 21, of which its public beta version is now available for download.
This update introduces the new photo page, which allows colorists and photographers to use Hollywood's most advanced color tools for photographs.
Other updates include new AI tools such as IntelliSearch for quick content search, CineFocus for focal point adjustment, tools for facial refinement, and more. The Krokodove toolset adds more than 70 new graphics to Fusion, Fairlight folders simplify audio track management, and includes improvements to keyframe creation, MultiMaster trim passes, layer list node graphics, and more.
Fairlight Live: A new software-based live audio mixer with spatial audio mixing and SMPTE-2110 streaming workflows. Fairlight Live easily manages thousands of audio channels, working with standard computer audio or USB audio from ATEM live production mixers. Fully customizable, it includes built-in effects and professional features such as a cue player, intercom buses, snapshots, and more.
The Fairlight Live public beta is available immediately on the Blackmagic Design website for free.
URSA Cine 12K LF 100G: A new model in the URSA Cine family with 100G Ethernet for high frame rate in live production according to the SMPTE-2110 standard, up to 440 fps. Building on the revolutionary digital cinema features of the URSA Cine 12K LF, including the 36x24 mm large format RGBW sensor, this new model offers much faster network connectivity for live film production workflows.
Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive 100G: The world's first immersive cinema camera designed for live production with Apple Immersive Video. Equipped with two 8Kx8K RGBW sensors with 16 stops of dynamic range, the URSA Cine Immersive 100G uses 100G Ethernet to deliver the bandwidth needed for immersive live video streaming for the first time.
Blackmagic URSA Cine Live Encoder: A live processing module that compresses immersive live video to Apple ProRes for output as SMPTE-2110-22 IP video, allowing customers to combine high-frame-rate stereo image footage on a single 100G Ethernet connection.
The Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive: Apple's immersive content creation landscape has matured rapidly, and Blackmagic Design witnessed this evolution firsthand, observing how many pioneering creators who adopted the URSA Cine Immersive are now significantly scaling their productions, adding a second, third, and even fourth camera to meet the demands of their ever-growing productions.
Demand will increase significantly with the growth of live productions. This progress reflects the fundamental conviction that professional-grade tools should be available to all creators, a commitment that, together with the manufacturing efficiencies gained from increased production volumes, has enabled them to make these cameras more accessible than ever before.
ATEM 4 M/E Constellation IP: ATEM 4 M/E Constellation IP and ATEM 4 M/E Constellation IP Plus (available in July starting at $14,295) are two new live production mixer models that are fully compatible with SMPTE-2110. These new models retain the powerful features of existing ATEM Constellation SDI switchers, making them familiar to users, allowing for a smooth transition between SMPTE-2110 and SDI switchers when both are available on-site. Designed for high-end streaming and live production, the new design incorporates front-to-back cooling, extensive redundancy, SMPTE-2022-7 support on all 100G video ports, redundant PTP clock connections, 2 x 10G Ethernet ports for control, and redundant AC power supplies.
