Sony has announced the PXW-Z150 camera, the latest addition to its XDCAM line of lightweight, easy-to-use professional camcorders. It operates wirelessly and its filming is in high quality 4K*1 format.
The configuration options of the PXW-Z150 are simple and flexible, it comes equipped with an Exmor RS CMOS sensor of the type 1.0" "stacked" that offers users the possibility of recording in 4K resolution and 5x slow motion in Full HD, an essential functionality for content creators looking to make corporate or personal productions of the highest quality.
Clear Image Zoom technology offers 24x and 18x zoom in HD and 4K, respectively, in addition to the standard 12x optical zoom. The large 1.0" 20-megapixel sensor*2 delivers clear images even in low light.
Among other features, the camcorder has two memory card slots and is compatible with SDXC and SDHC cards.
