Quantum launches StorNext Connect, an easy-to-use tool that simplifies the installation, discovery, management and control of StorNext media. Designed especially for the StorNext 5 data management system.
StorNext Connect enables users to deploy or power StorNext systems and quickly identify and resolve complications to maximize performance.
Among its main features are: an intuitive and self-guided interface that makes it easy to install the software and shows all its storage resources, CPU, memory and network interconnection; it is also a tool for monitoring including performance and lactation.
It also provides detailed information on individual components, with real-time data, status and trend history; it makes it easy to update metadata and client drivers, individually or by groups and graphs real-time activity, productivity and usage, which supports the rapid resolution of 'bottleneck' issues in performance.
