JVC
JVC launches the new GY-HM850 and GY-HM890 Shoulder ProHD camcorders, which have connectivity via telephone and computer networks for live HD transmissions (streaming) directly from the camera without the need for hardware or external encoders. Thanks to their sending of files via FTP from anywhere and the function of total control via WiFi or Ethertnet they are ideal for newscasts or multi-camera events.
The two cameras have 3 CMOS sensors of 1/3 "of progressive scanning and 12-bit processing, with 2.2 million pixels, capture and record native images at resolution 1920x1080 50p, with a very high sensitivity of F12 to 2000lux (50Hz) and an excellent signal-to-noise ratio, capturing color with superior quality.
The GY-HM890, is a model designed as an ENG camera that also works as an HD studio camera or as an integrable camera in multi-camera productions in the field. It has a connection that accommodates CCU systems by optical fiber or multicore CCU; includes an HD/SD-SDI input that can record and stream video and audio from another camera or any SDI source. The cameras are also compatible with LANC remote controllers, as well as JVC's own wired remote control systems.
