Calrec Audio Ltd.
The new Callisto audio console was designed by Calrec Audio with live broadcast professionals in mind who need to easily produce creative and quality audio. Its intuitive operation simplifies the most complex actions, such as the creation of mix-minus shipments.
The design of the console has focused on making the Callisto GUI very intuitive and suitable for a wide spectrum of operators. The user controls the surface through a 17" multi-touch screen inspired by the operation of tablets, with a very simple interface that uses already established finger movements to navigate the system. The display offers elegant controls and a clear presentation of information.
Callisto with Bluefin2 has a set of 180 process paths, which can be configured as mono, stereo or 5.1 channels, resources are not shared in the DSP and therefore the entire process is available on all channels at all times. It has 8 groups, 4 main outputs (all can be mono, stereo or 5.1), 16 auxiliary and 32 tracks.
The control surface is available in configurations of 32 and 44 faders. Each channel includes the most essential mechanical controls, including a fader, two configurable control cells and gain potentiometer.
