Atlona
Atlona shows the market its new AT-HD-M2C multichannel converter, designed to simplify mixed audio installations, accepts Dolby and DTS multichannel audio before converting signals into a two-channel format. This allows the reception of multichannel audio content, the conversion into two channels and the production of endpoints that do not usually accept this type of sources, providing full compatibility with displays and legacy systems, such as audio receivers.
This integration makes it possible for various groups such as Blue-ray players, game consoles and set-top boxes, to distribute the same content in multi-zone environments, thus ensuring that the signals receive and process correctly in home theathers and two chanels bedrooms applications.
When converting optimized audio signals from the power supply to the display, the product uses EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) to provide plug-and-play simplicity, eliminating the need for complex programming, resulting in automatic detection and signal delivery.
By avoiding guesswork in audio management, LED status indicators for PCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS Digital Surround and DTS-HD Master Audio allow users to determine the incoming audio signal at a glance, which is essential in field testing and troubleshooting tasks.
