The Avid DS 11 is the latest version of editing solutions from the Avid company, the software incorporates graphics creation, color correction and multilayer composition.
Manually adjustable color correction and integration with Avid Artist Color are other features. It also integrates 16 channels of embedded audio, full conformation for Media Composer 6 and Symphony 6, and expanded file format and hardware compatibility.
Other new features of the software are its integration between Avid Artist Color and Avid Artist Transport, independence in resolution, which allows editors to customize it, mixing modes in the timeline and compatibility with long GOP material.
Additionally, it has SDK for RED, which increases flexibility by offering compatibility with the material of RED's EPIC and SCARLET cameras. It supports KONA 3G hardware, HDR files and long GOP material.
