The company Pesa, presented its new DRS audio routing system, which comes equipped with an Enterprise Data Exchange Engine (E-DXE) that makes it more efficient.
The DRS uses high-speed technology with multiplexing for signal distribution, the routing system is 24-bit and 96kHz and the device also has a modular architecture that makes it easier to adapt to specific configurations.
One of the most important features of the equipment is the use of the DXE platform, as it includes all the essential functions of signal processing such as input gain and phase reversal.
It is also possible that the AES3, AES3id, timecode, analog audio and MADI signals are processed by the same system without the need for external converters and each sample rate of the DSR can be adjusted to support 44.1 kHz or 48kHz.
The DRS comes in three sizes and can be adapted to a variety of audio requirements. There is the DRS Series-C which uses an internal control card that supports 64 I/O frames. The DRS Series-M is ideal for small or medium-sized routing needs with up to 512x512 I/O Frames and the DRS Series-E designed for enterprise systems with support for 1536x1536 I/O frames.
