Sencore unveiled its new IP 8.728 interface card with PID filtering for MRD 3181B receiver decoder.
This new option allows operators to take out any combination of services from the large multi-program transport flow, for redistribution in networks and the delivery of one or more multiple videos, this being the ideal system for digital turnaround (DTA) applications.
When configured for DTA, the MRD 3187B acts as a pass-through system that provides an IP and ASI output, with no decoding capability, allowing operators to reframe signals that have already been encoded early in the transmission chain.
The sum of the PID 8728 card provides an easy and cost-effective way to filter and partially decrypt only the audio and video services that operators need and then broadcast them as a new transport stream.
