QNAP Systems launches the 5-bay TS-531P professional NAS, a tower format NAS with a 1.4GHz quad-core Annapurna Labs Alpine AL-314 processor and ARM Cortex-A15 with 2GB/8GB DDR3 RAM (expandable to 8GB), which supports RAID 5/6, and features hardware-accelerated encryption and SSD caching.
With four Gigabit LAN ports, the TS-531P can deliver up to 418 MB/s read and write speed and allows users to install a 10GbE SFP+ or 10GBASE-T network expansion card to connect to 10GbE networks.
