Colombia. RTVC, Colombia's public media system, added 4 new studios to its most recent Peace Stations, installing a total of 8 DHD 52-SX2 consoles in the municipalities of Fundación (Magdalena), Tumaco (Nariño), San José del Guaviare (Guaviare) and San Vicente del Caguán (Caquetá).
The professional broadcasting consoles are from the manufacturer DHD and delivered by the Colombian integrator Aspa Andina.
In each of these new Peace Stations, the new 52-SX2 consoles have been installed with 16 motorized Fader (all with total remote control from the DHD ASSIST APP web application), with 3 multi-touch TFTs and a fully scalable audio Inputs and Outputs configuration that allows them to meet the needs of each broadcast studio.
At the same time, a recording / production studio has been installed in each location / station with a 52-SX2 console with 4 Motorized Fader fully interconnected with the Broadcast console at each site, sharing 100% of its Inputs and Outputs between both studios, added to an operating capacity of up to 128 bidirectional channels of AoIP in DANTE protocol, thus guaranteeing a cutting-edge technological implementation that allows Public Radio to continue growing throughout the country with the first category guidelines in the world of international broadcasting.
These 4 new Peace Stations are added to the 11 decentralized studios that were already operational in RTVC with DHD 52-SX consoles, whose process began in 2014 and until 2021 in the cities of Bucaramanga, Medellín, Manizales, Pasto, Villavicencio, San Andrés, Cali, Convención (Nte de Santander), San Jacinto (Bolívar), Fonseca (La Guajira) and Mesetas (Meta).
