Mexico. The Federal Institute of Telecommunications of Mexico, IFT, has a mobile unit in order to carry out media literacy to train responsible users and active audiences. This week it is the turn to visit the State of Oaxaca.
The trainings of the IFT mobile unit are focused on school groups from fourth to sixth grade and from first to third grade. In addition, it serves families interested in knowing their rights in telecommunications.
The media literacy program taught by this program is based on the principles proposed by UNESCO, which imply that from a fun, constructive perspective, based on meaningful knowledge, activities are carried out with multimedia devices through capsules, videos and interactive activities.
Participants are introduced to the world of various radio and television genres, content production, programming ratings, television advertising and user rights.
Until November 11, the mobile unit will be visiting the State of Oaxaca. Those interested can find it at the Anahuac University.
