Telestream
Telestream has just announced version 6.5 of Episode, its software for multi-format encoding. This update comes with more formats added: such as HEVC, XAVC, VP9, and MXF AS-11.
It has support for image sequences, available directly from the user interface. And support for multi-track audio, which thanks to the presets and filters that have been included in this version, multi-track audio channels can be easily mapped. It is also possible to reassign the tracks, change the speaker assignments, audio formats or samples.
It has support for multi-bitrate streaming, which allows you to encode and create packages for Apple HLD, Microsoft Smooth Streaming and MPEG-DASH; and subtitle support, it is compatible with CEA-608 and CEA-708 standards, as well as MCC and SCC formats. This allows the embedding of subtitles following the established rules to be much easier for post-production workflows.
Version 6.5 is available (it is a paid update) in three different versions, in which the encoding speed and flexibility of formats vary.
