ChyronHego announced the release of Paint 6.0, a new version of the company's suite of tools for analytics and telestration. Designed to meet the specific needs of sports broadcasters, the product now includes a Mac OS X version designed to work natively on MacBook Pro.
In addition, the latest version includes a variety of improvements and new features, including mobile players, exporting editable clips, and advanced input/output effects.
New mobile players, or cut-out, an effect within the software allows the commentator or operator to move players to different positions on the pitch or on the pitch. Players can be highlighted with a glow or removed from the field, and can also be scaled in size.
