Amira, the new Arri camera is designed for flexibility, with its compact and robust design it is ideal to be operated on the shoulder. It has three available configurations differentiated by the feature set included in the software. Afterwards, each user will be able to choose the lens mount, battery mount and bottom base to get their camera completely customized.
The basic configuration allows recording in ProRes 422 (Rec 709) up to 100 fps and is intended for those who want to work in corporate, online or television markets; it also adds the ability to use Log C and ProRes 422 HQ up to 200 fps, as well as pre-record functions and in-camera color correction.
Finally, the premium configuration incorporates functions aimed at high-level productions, for example to use AMIRA as support for an ALEXA. These features include the ProRes 4444 codec and 2K resolution up to 200fps, plus unlimited color control with the ability to add 3D LUTs.
