Microwave Technologies
Nucomm's wireless camera system, camPac2, was introduced by Microwave Technologies. This system is oriented to applications and situations such as electronic news gathering (ENG), entertainment, reality shows and sports.
It is available in bands between 2GHz and 7.5GHz, offers MPEG-4 encoding and decoding, HD capacity and low power consumption. Its style and machinery allows great durability and very good thermal characteristics for operation in aggressive conditions.
By using MPEG-4 the CamPac2 system allows more video paths on the same amount of broadband, which is attractive for stations with markets with high levels of RF congestion.
Its variable broadband modulator ranges from 5 Mhz and 16 Mhz which allows high data exchange rates of more than 30 Mbps using robust formats such as QPSK or 16QAM. To ensure compatibility with any DVB-T standard, its 6/7/8 Mhz broadband modes are compatible with DVB-T. In addition, CamPac2 supports various video formats such as SDI and HD-SDI.
