Thomson launches its new ViBE VS 7000 transcoding platform, a model integrated into the IP video solution that transcodes compressed video files and streams. It is designed for converged applications such as online TV, Over-The-Top (OTT) delivery services, traditional IPTV and IP/Cable distribution.
The system combines audio and video quality codes, adapts streaming format and a robust IT platform for native redundancy and scalability; with an innovative compression platform for all IP development.
It also supports quality codecs and formats such as MPEG, Adobe, Flash, Apple, Live Streaming and Microsoft Smooth Streaming, with a resolution up to 1920x1080 in progressive and interlaced modes. It is scalable for input channels and output profiles, with support for multiple output formats per channel.
