Haivision's new Makito encoder offers efficient and affordable HD video streaming capture. The compact encoder possesses the efficiency to combine H.264 video compression and high-quality image in a small form factor.
Recently updated to revision 1.5, the Makito now supports constant bitrate (CBR). The equipment encodes and ensures the transport and compatibility of the entire system and optionally the metadata in real time.
The metadata option allows users to incorporate KLV metadata from the compressed video stream with data obtained from the serial port or UDP network source. It provides H.264 encoding up to 1080p60 with lower end-to-end latency arrangement.
