More than a reference auxiliary monitor, Blackmagic Design has designed a solution for audiovisual production. The Video Assist can be placed on the camera as a monitor for the film crew, given to the person in charge of photography to make the composition of shots or placed in front of the director to review each shot.
Video Assist can record and monitor content with superior quality. It features a 5-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It also allows you to record frequencies in 4:2:2 format with a quality of 10 bits and store them on common SD cards.
These recording media can be inserted directly into any computer equipment in order to duplicate its content using DaVinci Resolve Lite tools and enjoy a comprehensive solution for the editing and color grading stages.
Although the Video Assist device is an HD product, it also has a 6G SDI input that allows it to be used as a UHD monitor, the Blackmagic Video Assist monitor works with all types of cameras and facilitates the monitoring of images in a professional way.
