Brazil. Brainstorm and Fox Brasil have used InfinitySet, and its TeleTransporter functionality, to provide new, innovative and creative ways to cover the Copa Libertadores in semi-final and final matches.
TeleTransporte's technology, exclusive to Brainstorm, indistinguishably combines 3D virtual sets with real characters and video feeds both live and pre-recorded, all while maintaining a perfect adjustment of perspective, color, shadows, reflections and focus. This technology also helped the presenters to be sent virtually from the central studios to the different playing fields, so the audience could see them giving the report from the football field even if they were physically on Fox.
InfinitySet's TeleTransporter functionality allows real-time adjustment of camera and perspective tracking data from both sites, the studio in which the presenter is being recorded on a green background and the live video feed of the place where we want to take it. InfinitySet also allows the inclusion of virtual shadows, color correction and other elements that improve the realism of the final scene. In addition, Fox intensively used Augmented Reality on set with different 3D elements, including the shields of the equipment and social media graphics, making these objects maintain at all times the correct perspective regardless of camera movement.
