Brazil. Inter TV, Sistema Clube and Canal Rural are the three Brazilian channels that recently implemented Studio CG as a central part for their PCR (Production Control Room) transmissions. NBA House, the North American Basketball League-themed space that visited Rio de Janeiro in August during the Olympics, turned to Studio CG for the operation of its giant screens. Riot Games, the video game company that created the League of Legends, uses wTVision's video and graphics controller for its broadcasts in Brazil, Chile and Mexico.
Inter TV, rede Globo's affiliate station, began broadcasting with Studio CG on 5 of its channels in 2015, and at full capacity in early 2016.
The solution implemented by wTVision for Inter TV and Campos Goytacazes (both in the state of Rio de Janeiro) and Inter TV Ipatinga (state of Minas Gerais) includes two Studio CG, one for each state, vIdeo servers, tools for video editing, MAM, 3D video platform, Media Tools for SDi, File Based Ingest/Trimm and several licenses for Studio CG ActiveX, integrating the Studio CG plugin with the Inter TV NRCS.
Sistema Clube, an affiliate of Rede Bandeirantes, also reached the final stage of pcr automation implementation in 2016. The solution applied in the Clube System has some similarities with that adopted by Inter TV (two CG Studios, video server, video editing tools, MediaTools and MAM), but in this case the workflow includes integration with Go Social, the existing Vizrt graphics processor, and Studio CG ActiveX, is used in Clube System, as a plugin for ENPS.
On Canal Rural, a cable channel dedicated to agriculture and livestock, wTVision also implemented Go Social, its social media integration and moderation tool, in addition to other integrations (including Studio CG ActiveX for ENPS). wTVision's cloud solution for encoding social media content generates custom feeds with content from Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and can be integrated with Studio CG to generate the graphics stream.
For the NBA-themed space, which was open to the public in Rio de Janeiro between August 12 and 21, wTVision operated giant screens at the venue through Studio CG and, at the same time, had another operator managing the internal production of the NBA House television channel.
Finally, the successful partnership between Riot Games and wTVision, which has been going on for almost two years, improves eSports streaming in several countries. It began in São Paulo, Brazil, and then spread to other parts of Latin America, namely Chile and Mexico. Studio CG is the software in charge of the graphics for the recurring Live League of Legends events that take place in Brazil, Chile and Mexico. wTVision also supports Riot Games' international events in Brazil and Chile.
