Latin America. GatesAir is introducing in Latin America the new Maxiva UAXT television transmitters, cooled by air with extended power range.
This family of transmitters offers the possibility of working in powers greater than those available so far with air cooling, reaching up to 8 KW in DVB and ISDBT, and 14.4KW in ATSC, which is an alternative to work in output powers that were previously only achievable with liquid cooling.
In addition to the extension of the power range with air cooling, these transmitters incorporate the new XTE exciter, with native IP interface, designed and manufactured entirely by GatesAir, and also provide energy efficiency that can reach 50% for ATSC.
This is another example of GatesAir's ongoing technological evolution in over-the-air television and radio broadcasting in all its formats.
