High Speed 1080P Studio Cameras
Introduced at the recent NAB 2016, the AK-HC5000 studio camera, with output of up to 1080p at 239.76p.76p., provides a high-speed output of up to 1080/p239.76, making it the standard of Panasonic studio cameras. P2 Cast for news production flow
Panasonic also showed off the latest updates to its acclaimed P2 Cast news production system. Panasonic's cloud-based P2 Cast system takes advantage of all the network functions of the P2HD line of camcorders with AVC-ULTRA recording and uses the network capability of these cameras to upload the contents captured in the field to the cloud and make it immediately available to news centers for review and editing.
Using P2 Cast technology streamlines the live streaming of news and extends the editing function to any device connected to the Internet. The P2 Cast system stands out for its ability to use the cloud to transmit video in both proxy quality and high quality from the camera itself, create a video sequence of the desired clips and allow the newsroom to automatically extract from the camera the images in high resolution and AVC-ULTRA.
Cameras that incorporate AVC-ULTRA connect to the newsroom via the cloud via mobile networks (4G/LTE, Wi-Fi or dedicated connection), allowing news to be generated instantly as it emerges.
