Latin America. Inovonics has announced the new INOmini 223 multimode audio processor, which meets multiple broadcasting needs, with fast menu-based configuration, specific applications for: NRSC, European Broadcasting or AM Shortwave Broadcasting; Traveler information service; Monaural FM from the United States or Europe and analog services from SCA.
Its features include triggered AGC and "variable gain" per window, 3-band compression with adjustable EQ, and a quick 'pre-analysis' final limiter coupled with filtered multi-cut overrun output controlled to suit a variety of uses. 3-band processing features selectable crossover, equalizer and strict limiter with pre-emptive protection.
The 223 has a very intuitive menu-based user interface. All modes employ limited pre-emphasis protection and bandwidth throttling specific to the selected service.
The compact 1/3-rack size unit integrates with other Inovonics INOmini products, including RDS encoders and decoders, trusted monitors for AM/FM/HD Radio with IP control and audio stream, and solving other problems, economically for broadcasters.
This product will be showcased at the upcoming NAB Show in La Vegas, April 16-21.
