Latin America. Inovonics has announced the New 525N Modulation Monitor with Network Interface, which will be showcased at the upcoming NAB show. The 525N is a third-generation product and successor to the popular 525 Modulation Monitor currently in production.
Now, with IP connectivity, the 525N offers a complete web interface that provides full remote control of all parameters of configuration, measurement, alarms with logging and audio flow monitoring.
"By adding IP connectivity to the popular AM 525 Modulation Monitor, we have added new life and functionality to a broadcasting industry workhorse," said Ben Barber, President & CEO.
IP connectivity with full SNMP support gives the user full access to the 525N from any computer, tablet or mobile device. Setup, measurement, alarms and audio monitoring are all available from the remote monitoring point.
Although the 525N maintains full broadband response for measurement, it features the feature of user-selectable cut-off audio monitoring to mitigate noise or to simulate the response of consumer radios. A patented closed-phase synchronous detector provides precise demodulation, rejects interference and only recovers the AM component of HD Radio's ™ 'digital hybrid' transmissions. The 525N also supports energy-saving MDCL operation.
The 525N will be available in May 2016. Inovonics is accepting pre-orders for the 525N through its dealer network.
