International. German network operator UPLINK Network GmbH has signed an agreement with international broadcast equipment developer WorldCast Systems for the supply of up to 150 FM transmitters for delivery in the first six months of 2016.
Ecreso FM transmitters whose power range is from 100 to 10,000 watts will be installed throughout the country after the liberalization of the German FM market at the beginning of the year. Uplink is the first alternative network operator to select WorldCast for a major installation in Germany; choosing Ecreso transmitters after a detailed technical study of the transmission options available on the market. Ecreso systems will be installed on customers' networks such as Radio Schleswig-Holstein, Radio Sachsen, Radio PSR and Radio Bob.
Commenting on the recently signed deal, UPLINK CEO Michael Radomski said, "When it comes to FM transmitters WorldCast is, in our opinion, the undisputed leader in the European market."

Ecreso FM transmitters are IP-enabled and can be controlled via a Web browser and SNMP. Equipped with a digital modulator, the transmitter also offers an advanced measurement interface or AMI that allows detailed analysis of rf spectrum, MPX spectrum, audio spectrum and peak meter without the need for external diagnostic devices.
