International. Arri announced two new Pro Camera Accessories dedicated to the Alexa Mini camera: a broadcast stage and a low clamp to operate the camera over the shoulder. These products were recently presented as first models at the BSC Expo in London and at the Micro Salon in Paris where they were received with great enthusiasm by industry professionals.
Platina broadcast for the Alexa Mini
The Arri broadcast stage for the Alexa Mini is an adjustable base plate designed for documentary style shooting. With an advanced adjustment for shoulder base, the broadcast plate allows a precise balance in the shoulder without necessarily affecting the configurations that include components mounted on accessory pipes.
The broadcast stage's compatibility with VCT-style tripod adapters such as the Arri QRP-1 quick release plate – allows you to quickly switch from shoulder to tripod.
CSP-1 Low Shoulder Base Clamp
The CSP-1 Arri low shoulder base clamp is specifically designed for the Mini MAP-2 adapter plate. When adjusted to the shoulder base for CSP-1 camera this low clamp facilitates the handling of the camera in hand because it makes the Alexa Mini lowered about 15mm on the shoulder.
