Colombia. With 27 years on the air providing television service to the departments of Valle del Cauca, Cauca, Chocó and Nariño, the regional channel Telepacífico is preparing to continue carrying high quality content, with a new HD mobile unit, which on March 30 was delivered by the company Seel.
Carlos Ivan Fernández, manager of Seel, explained to TVyVideo that "Telepacífico's mobile unit has 15 Sony HXC-100 cameras, an RTS intercom system, Evertz distribution and conversion system and all the wiring was done with Belden connectors and cables. All the design and technical implementation was carried out by Seel's engineering department, in coordination with Telepacífico's technical department."
This new mobile unit, which was designed and integrated for three months, will expand the coverage that Telepacífico can give to cultural and sports events in the Colombian Pacific area.
The delivery of the mobile unit was made by the engineer Carolina Fernández, Director of Operations of Seel, the engineer John Carlos Hurtado, technical director of Telepacífico and the company that intervened in the project.
