Adobe updates its video systems

Latin America. Adobe announced plans to significantly update the Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Anywhere for video desktop video apps. These new capabilities, available soon, are based on the integration of video workflows that allow video professionals to create, collaborate and deliver high-quality productions across multiple screens.

The latest hardware and standards support is accelerated through Adobe Creative Cloud, enabling companies to respond quickly to new hardware and software standards. Key updates extend support for native files by adding AJA RAW. Performance improvements include accelerated  Masking & Tracking; and new GPU-accelerated and optimized playback, delivering better performance when viewed at high resolution 4K and Ultra HD from Phantom Cinema, Canon RAW and RED R3D files.

A revamped user interface across all video applications that support HiDPI displays for Mac Retina Display and Windows 8.1, providing a cleaner look that allows video professionals to stay focused on their projects.

New project and media management features, including  Consolidate & Transcode; Search Bins; and Multiproject workflows that offer more ease and flexibility at the project level, with which Adobe Premiere Pro CC users can complete their tasks more efficiently. Adobe Media Encoder now includes destination editing, with predefined options for users to render, deliver, and share projects to multiple sites such as FTP and its Creative Cloud folder, automating the delivery process.

Adobe also announced major changes planned for Adobe Anywhere, the collaborative workflow platform that allows users of Adobe professional video solutions such as Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Adobe After Effects CC to work together using centralized media and assets over standard networks. Adobe Anywhere complements Creative Cloud applications and enables deep collaboration for large organizations working with video, including stations, educational institutions, and government agencies.

Expanded support for Enhanced Support for Adobe After Effects CC allows graphic artists to collaborate more effectively so they spend more time working creatively and less time searching and collecting footage. In addition, new options have been added in the Adobe Anywhere app for iPad, so that users can quickly review video footage.
