Argentina. The Advisory Council of the Argentine Digital Terrestrial TV System, SATVD-T, presented a new video-on-demand platform called Contenidos Digitales Abiertos, CDA, which seeks to give greater dissemination to national content.
This platform, which integrates all the efforts and policies of promotion of digital audiovisual content of the Argentine government, allows access to fiction series, documentaries, unitaries, films, sports, special events and exclusive content among others, with the highest quality.
Some of the main content providers of CDA are the winning productions of the TDA Development Plan contests, currently available in the Argentine Audiovisual Bank of Universal Contents, as well as from other actors in the audiovisual sector.
The new platform is designed to be viewed through a computer with internet access, as well as from mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets and state-of-the-art televisions, thanks to an application that some tv manufacturers that are distributed in Argentina are currently including.
Its creators have defined it as the television of the future, because it incorporates the social aspect to today's technologies, promoting respect for cultural diversity and being consistent with the current context of communication.
