Argentina. Artear completed a renovation project of its digital terrestrial television infrastructure, DTT, in Buenos Aires with technology from local manufacturer VideoSwitch.
Artear incorporated two new DMUX-3100 multiplexers into its Channel 13 transmitter plant, replacing the DMUX-1000s that operated uninterruptedly for nearly 13 years.
This upgrade strengthens service continuity and incorporates a more modern and robust architecture, with:
- Redundancy of inputs and services
- Dual power supply
- Extended monitoring
- More efficient processing
- Greater operational stability in the event of failures
Eduardo Bayo, Technical Manager of ARTEAR, highlighted the historical reliability of the DMUX-1000 and the smooth migration to the DMUX-3100.
For his part, Roberto Maury, General Manager of VideoSwitch, underlined the long-standing relationship between the two companies and the pride of continuing to accompany their technological evolution.
