Latin America. This Friday, February 23, the first Ibero-American Chromathon will be held, a face-to-face event in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and virtual through Youtube. The event seeks to generate a networking space for colorists and technologies for the growth of the industry.
On the agenda of the event is a panel of colorists, as well as an exhibition of color-relevant technology. This event is the stage to present the Ibero-American Association of Colorists.
Diego Yhama, a color specialist and one of the promoters of the initiative, told TVyVideo+Radio that the Hispanic Association of Colorists is the continuation of the Argentine Association of Colorists, which was the first to emerge on the continent.
"Professionals from different countries have written to the Argentine Association expressing their interest in being there. That's why the idea of creating this large group of colorists arose, with the main objective of getting together, sharing experiences, knowledge and strengthening ourselves as a medium," he said
He added that "in this sense of creating community with international participation, the Ibero-American Chromathon is also launched, to bring together colorists with manufacturers of color-relevant technology. It's the launch of two spaces for professionals of color, an event and a community that unites us in a common good."

The next appointment of the Ibero-American Chromathon will be during the month of May in Spain and they hope to schedule activities in other countries throughout the year.
