Latin America. The digitalization in audio has been advanced thanks to the massification of systems such as Dante, MADI, among others, but they generated that the intercommunication between these systems can become a problem for end users when they must work with equipment from different systems.
To provide a solution to this problem, the company Synthax offers equipment from different European manufacturers, such as RME, Digigram, Ferrofish, Appsys, which facilitate intercommunication between different digital audio ecosystems.
Juan Tamayo, Synthax engineer for Latin America, told TVyVideo+Radio that "what we are looking for from our different products that we have in Synthax is how to achieve that intercommunication between different technologies and that it is stable and robust, that does not fail, that does not generate problems. And that's what we're aiming for."
During the tour of Broadcast Depot in three Colombian cities, Juan Tamayo stressed that the market in this country had a slow start to the year, although they are seeing that with the decline of the dollar, they have noticed a high growth of product requests for the second semester.
"Our distributors in Colombia are betting a lot on the market. So I invite you that if you have any product request, do it through an authorized distribution channel. This semester that begins we have good news, especially in the educational area. Universities are understanding that we must learn that digital is the future. Kids must learn that you have to think digital, but you don't have to forget the analog, that's the trick," he said.
