Colombia. On October 20, the prize was awarded to the winner of the TecnoTelevisión 2022 University Contest to Diego Andrés Prieto Ramírez and his audiovisual piece called Destierro.
Destierro tells the story of Albeiro, a docile shoemaker in the city, is the father of Mariana, an 8-year-old girl. After a day when everything goes wrong and he loses the money with which to pay his extortionists, the only solution left is to seek the welfare of his daughter elsewhere, although that will not be a guarantee of anything either.
This student of the University of Tolima and his audiovisual work, received 31% of the almost 5 thousand votes that made him worthy of the first place of the Contest among the five finalists.
TVyVideo+Radio, organizer of the TecnoTelevisión University Contest, thanks the companies that joined this year to deliver the prize to the winner: Vidiexco, Litepanels, E-Image and Grupo Pinnacle.
The winner was announced within the framework of TecnoTelevisión & Radio 2022, which was held at the Corferias Convention Center in Bogotá, on October 20 and 21.
