Argentina. Enacom met with representatives of the Institute of Audiovisual Arts of Misiones (IAAviM), a provincial autarchic entity, which operates within the scope of the Ministry of Culture, Education, Science and Technology, and which is responsible for the implementation of Law VI No. 171 on Audiovisual Promotion.
The objective of the IAAviM is the promotion and encouragement of audiovisual works as cultural heritage of all missionaries, to give value to cultural diversity, regional identities and freedom of artistic expression, and whose operation is the result of the coordinated effort of filmmakers, technicians, producers, documentalists, makeup artists, journalists, actors and other members of the audiovisual sector of Misiones.
During this second round of dialogues on the Promotion and Plurality of Voices, IAAviM presented the work with community and indigenous peoples' media that it carries out through different programs such as community youth cinema, audiovisual literacy and training of cultural managers. There was also a dialogue about the screen circuit that the Institute works with the different districts of the entire Province. Finally, it was agreed to develop a roadmap for working together with these initiatives to strengthen the community sector and articulate with the Benteveo Program.
Representing Enacom were María Sucarrat, head of the Fund for the Competitive Promotion of Audiovisual Communication, FOMECA, along with Flavio Rapisardi and Luis Zarranz, members of the National Directorate of Development and Development.
On behalf of the IAAviM, Prof. Mario Andrés Giménez, president of the Institute of Audiovisual Arts of Misiones; Verónica Fulquet, head of the Community Production Area; and Dr. Alexis Rasftopolo, assistant of the Technical Operational Management.
Enacom promotes these weekly meetings, in which a common agenda is set with the participants and concludes with short, medium and long-term objectives.
