Argentina. The National Communications Agency, Enacom, maintains the delivery of funds for the promotion of communications throughout the national territory. That is why funds were approved for the financing of the FOMECA (Funds for the Competitive Promotion of Audiovisual Communication) corresponding to line P of content production for radio and television in the community sector for more than 5 million pesos, benefiting 14 local media.
In addition, within the framework of the Universal Service Connectivity program, the disbursement of more than 69 million pesos in concept of Non-Reimbursable Contributions (NRAs) to 11 cooperatives and SMEs in the ICT sector was enabled, facilitating the expansion and strengthening of connectivity in those areas that need it most.
In this way, the National State, in addition to carrying out the different measures to prevent and combat the COVID-19 epidemic, also maintains active public policies in sectors that are essential not only for the national economy but also constitute essential services for citizens.
