Brazil. Due to the Covid-19 alert, SET Expo announced a new date for its realization in 2020. The fair, which traditionally takes place at the end of August, this year will be from December 7 to 10 at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo.
"In view of the rapid expansion of the new Covid-19 pandemic and following the recommendations of our country's health authorities, we believe it is prudent to make this decision at this time," said SET President Carlos Fini.
He added that this decision was made after consulting exhibitors and advisors, among whom the general opinion is that it is necessary to postpone the event. "We mainly want to ensure a safe business environment for our visitors, exhibitors, speakers, congressmen, suppliers and employees who make SET Expo one of the most important industrial events in the world," he said.
All activities preceding SET EXPO 2020 continue unchanged. The call for papers (for academic panels of the Congress) and the call for speakers are open and interested parties can submit articles or conferences at any time.
