Colombia. The Content Coordination of the National Television Authority, ANTV, prepared and issued the report called: Pedagogical Model for Citizen Appropriation and Dissemination of Digital Terrestrial Television.
In this document, the entity analyzes the process of adoption of digital television, based on the experience of countries that have already completed the process to observe in detail what is going on in Colombia.
It also refers to the need to rethink the processes of diffusion of the advantages of DTT and articulate inter-institutional forces around the imminence of the analog blackout.
The document ends with a proposal of activities with a clear objective: "to bring open and free television to all Colombians, with a strategy that shows its relevance of its contents as a cultural space where Colombians can see and express themselves; that they appropriate their advantages, use it for the empowerment of their communities and promote a national audiovisual content industry that meets the needs of communication, identity, pluralism and freedom of expression".
