Brazil. With the intention of presenting the workflow for the Cinema area, Pinnacle Broadcast and Blackmagic Design, held an event dedicated to film professionals, directors, photographers, colorists and finishers in one of the most important production companies in the Brazilian and world market, O2 Filmes.
Fabio Angelini, Sales Engineer of Pinnacle Broadcast and Ambassador of Blackmagic Design in Brazil, presented the event with the presence of the Film Products Specialist, Dr. Tor Johansen, winner of 6 Emmy Awards, who was available to the guests doing demos and Shooting with the cameras, demonstrating the main resources and news of the latest updates, such as the possibility of recording in the new Blackmagic RAW format.
"The event held at the most prestigious film production company in the country, O2 Filmes, with Specialist and Ambassadors of Blackmagic Design for Brazil that add up to 7 Emmy Awards and with very important guests, will surely propagate the workflow for Blackmagic Cinema" - commented Fabio Angelini.
The URSA Mini Pro 4.6K cameras and the new Pocket Cinema Camera 4k have been presented. The guests were able to learn about the main resources, watch videos about productions already made with the cameras and also participate in a "Hands-On" laboratory, where they had the possibility of recording several videos with a dedicated scenography for image tests.
In addition to the specialist, Dr. Tor Johansen, were also present the ambassadors Blackmagic Design, Pedro Paiva, Director of Photography and Miguel Rodrigues, Certified Instructor for Master Class of DaVinci Resolve Studio. Pedro, who has already done various works for large broadcasters such as Rede Globo, NBC (where he has won an Emmy award), NatGeo, among others, and a witness on the URSA Mini Pro and Pocket4K cameras
After the image captures, guests were able to learn about the complete workflow with Miguel Rodrigues performing color correction and demonstrating some of the main features of the powerful and complete Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve editing and completion system.
The next edition will be held in Rio de Janeiro, in the Cinematheque of the MAM (Museum of Modern Art), with the same team of professionals as in São Paulo.
