Iván Olmeda is the new CEO of AEQ

International. AEQ has appointed Iván Olmeda, who until now was responsible for the Company's Business Development Directorate, as the new General Director, succeeding Rogelio de la Fuente after 35 years at the helm of the Company.

Iván Olmeda has more than 20 years of experience in the Broadcast industry, always linked to manufacturing. He joined AEQ's management team in 2014 following the takeover of Kroma Telecom, where he held the position of Managing Director.

"It is a very thoughtful decision and an important step for the growth of the Company. It is a guarantee to start this new stage with a person with the profile and experience of Iván. We are convinced that we leave AEQ in good hands and with great expectations for the future," said Rogelio de la Fuente,  who will remain as an advisor to the new CEO until the end of 2018, and who will remain linked to the company as a member of the Board.

Iván Olmeda commented that "it is an honor for me to be able to put myself at the head of this company, a true reference in the Broadcast market and international sporting events. After four years being part of this company I am clear about the great human and technological potential that form it. In recent years we have made a very important leap towards IP technology, which positions us in a strategic place to give the best service to our customers."
