Argentina. As of Provision No. 945, the National Directorate of Authorizations and ICT Registrations of the National Communications Agency, Enacom, resolved the automatic promotion of category for all those Radio Amateurs with a valid license that until now had "Initial" categories, who will pass to "Novice", and "Intermediate", who will be "General" category.
In relation to what has been implemented in the agencies of the National State, this measure aims to simplify administrative processes to be able to carry out the procedures quickly, effectively and efficiently.
In this way, this Provision prevents Radio Amateurs from having to appear more than once before the end of the year, once to request promotion and another to renew the license.
In due course, the regulatory body will inform the methodology so that Radio Amateurs can require the corresponding credential, which will be granted through the Radio Clubs or Authorized Institutions.
