Grass Valley gains strength in Latin America

Latin America. Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, continues to expand its role as an industry leader in the LATAM region, experiencing significant success in 2017 after realigning its regional team.

As broadcasters focus on new capital investments to enhance the content they produce, Grass Valley offers customers state-of-the-art technology along with a strong local presence and a renewed consultative approach.

TV Cultura in Brazil has been working with Grass Valley for over a decade, recently installing a set of new production solutions. "We are very excited about the future and what we will be able to offer our viewers. From news to original programming, our Grass Valley teams give us a competitive advantage that we can continue to leverage as we look to the future. I am proud to say that TV Cultura's relationship with Grass Valley has been an important factor in our long-term success," said Gilvani Moletta, director of engineering and technology at TV Cultura.

Grupo Multimedios de México has cameras, switchers, servers, production systems and much more from Grass Valley. "Our Grass Valley solutions make Grupo Multimedios the first company in the region with a fully virtualized ingestion, playout, media movement and social media integration solution," said Guillermo Franco, chief technical officer of Grupo Multimedios. "We are at the forefront with this innovative and efficient production platform thanks to Grass Valley's solutions and their close collaboration and support as we navigate this new environment."
