Colombia. At the Morrison Hotel in Bogotá, a meeting was held with trainers of the future Redvolucionarios, a project of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications, Mintic, which seeks to promote the use of technologies, to improve the quality of life of Colombians and promote social development in Colombia.
During the training, the National Television Authority, ANTV, provided them with information related to Digital Terrestrial Television, where Juan Carlos Aguirre, engineer of the Technical Coordination of the entity, explained the importance of DTT for Colombians.
Likewise, he explained the work that the ANTV has done to bring the new signal to the different homes in the national territory, with the support of the European Union (EU), with whom this project has been carried out.
Another of the invited experts representing the ANTV was Eladio Gutiérrez, from BAA consultores, who spoke about the importance of digital television in Colombia and the standard operation that is handled to be able to tune the Y Señal DVT2, a European standard that has been used in different countries, giving excellent results.
For the ANTV, the EU and Mintic it is important that Digital Terrestrial Television is known by all Colombians and accepted as an opportunity to move forward, that is why this approach on DTT was carried out.
It is expected that the future trainers of the Redvolutionaries will be multipliers of the advantages of DTT in the national territory. See in pictures some moments of this day.
