Latin America. New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and Philadelphia are the first cities in the United States in which the YouTube TV service is already available.
As part of the launch, the service, which costs $35 a month, will have the first month free. And after the first payment, users will receive a free Google Chromecast.
With a YouTube TV membership, users will get:
The live signal of ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN, Fox Sports Networks, Comcast SportsNet, among others. And based on where the user lives, they will get the local TV stations. You'll also get dozens of popular cable channels, including FX, USA, Disney Channel, Bravo, MSNBC, Fox News. And you can add Showtime or Fox Soccer Plus for an additional fee. In total, YouTube TV will give more than 50 networks.
A cloud DVR, with no storage limits. With YouTube TV, a cloud DVR records as many shows as you want, simultaneously, without running out of storage. You can save each of the recordings for nine months.
TV when it matters, where it matters. You can watch YouTube TV on your phone, tablet, or computer, and you can easily stream it to your TV with a Chromecast or a built-in Chromecast TV. And your cloud DVR can stream your recordings on any device, whenever and wherever you go in the US.
YouTube Red originals. With a YouTube TV membership, you can watch all of our original YouTube Red series and movies directly in the new YouTube TV app.
Six accounts included. You can share your YouTube TV membership with your family and roommates, and each account will receive their own exclusive recommendations and cloud DVRs with no storage limits.
