Colombia. The 57th version of the Cartagena International Film Festival, Ficci, which will be held between March 1 and 6, will be attended by Blackmagic Design, a company that will have a technical seminar on Sunday, March 5.
Estefanía Carrillo, from the company Videocam, Blackmagic's master distributor for Latin America, told TVyVideo+Radio that the festival is a good stage to publicize all the solutions that the company has for cinematography.
"The Cartagena International Film Festival is an important moment to emphasize the brand and its solutions for cinema, not only in the cameras, but also in post-production, with systems like Davinci. That is why we will have a work shop, which will be in charge of Moritz Fortmann, an expert blackmagic colorist with extensive experience in post-production for film and TV, "he said.
During a 3-hour interactive session, attendees will be able to learn about the entire workflow, from the capture with the mini Ursa camera, how to import into the Davinci for editing, color grading and then completion. The entire workflow with Blackmagic systems.
Estefanía Carrillo stressed that the participation in Ficci responds to the company's intention to strengthen its presence in the film market, both with cameras and post-production systems, which is why they have attended film festivals in other Latin American countries such as Chile and Mexico.
