Mexico. The National Electoral Institute of Mexico, INE, is the autonomous public body in charge of organizing federal elections, such as the election of the President of the Republic, the Deputies and Senators that make up the Congress of the Union. The INE also organizes, in coordination with the electoral bodies of the federal entities, local elections in the states of the Republic and Mexico City.
IGSON technology has been integrated into the technical area of the National Electoral Institute using Igson Broadcast Center, the solution to automatically broadcast and ingest the live signal of the extraordinary sessions in charge of organizing the federal elections, storing and moving your file history to mass storage, in addition to titling the sessions with Igson Graphics.
This new service was implemented during the month of January and went into operation for the first time on the first of February 2017.
The INE opted for Igson MAM to control and edit all its ingested content, allowing subclips (segments), trimming video files, controlling audio levels, organizing sessions by dates and storing them in different quality and formats.
With the help of Igson Recmanager, the INE TV can now digitize its content instantly, allowing live sessions to be recorded in a fully automated way.
