Latin America. Qligent has expanded its global sales presence by appointing Rerate Limited as its representative in the Caribbean and Latin America, a Miami-based provider of equipment, services and systems for the broadcasting, cable, mobile, satellite and telecommunications industries, with expertise in network monitoring and support in the Caribbean and Latin America.
Initially, the company only considered adopting elements of Qligent Vision's cloud-based monitoring platform to complement Rerate's managed services layer. However, Rerate Managing Director Hector Cambero was so impressed by the depth, scalability, cost-effectiveness and reliability of the complete Qligent cloud monitoring architecture, that he signed on as a Qligent channel partner to further simplify transitions for his customers.
As a complete infrastructure provider, Cambero noted that Rerate is optimistic about selling integrated solutions that package Qligent with transportation and network delivery solutions from some of the industry's leading vendors, including Imagine Communications and Ericsson for header monitoring; And GatesAir and other transmitter manufacturers at the RF plant.
Qligent's new representation includes the Vision platform and the Oversight MaaS monitoring system.
