Mexico. Two of the leading companies in the technology market worldwide will take advantage of Primestream technologies to launch their TV channels, said Claudio Lisman, CEO and president of the company.
"Among the new projects is that we are diversifying into corporations. We've won the projects for Cisco Television and Microsoft TV, so two of the biggest companies in the world have come up with our technology," he said exclusively.
In addition, the company is providing its developments to the main television companies in Mexico: "Primestream is doing very well in Mexico and Latin America. We are working on several projects, clients, such as DGTV, Canal 22, Cadena 3. We have a lot of good perspective and a lot already done," he said.
And he detailed about his developments in the cloud: "We are working in collaborative environments and doing things that allow people to work remotely. You can have a publisher in one part of the world and have a playout on the other side; you can have a director at another point and all work through the cloud."
Lisman commented that one of the objectives of Primestream is new developments, such as 360º video: "One of the things we are working on is 360º video, which is a technology that I see will revolutionize the industry. The market has responded very well, because in the past we have seen technological changes such as 3D, which have not really been successful, but 360º technology is one that has a lot of future."
